Waiting for HDV...
^C"" 0.00 MiB 0 frames
Capture Stopped
Error: no HDV. Try again before giving up.

in interactive mode :

~$ sudo dvgrab -i -f hdv
Found AV/C device with GUID 0x0000850001262392
Going interactive. Press '?' for help.

By the past, I already capture video with an old version of dvgrab in debian testing, but I don't remember which one.

I'm using dvgrab 3.5 in debian testing repository.

Thanks in advance if you can help me.

The large number of oops indicate a problem with firewire communication on your system. It could be kernel drivers compatibility with card, card compatibility with device, bad cable, BIOS, bad port on device or other fault in device. Very hard to say. You have to old-fashioned trial-and-error testing to narrow down the problem area.

Thanks for your reply.

Do you have some advises ? I think firewire handling changed in debian testing cause *1394 modules are not used any more on my system.

I copy testlibraw exit, I don't see something wrong, maybe you will.
