#1095, "IR DMA error - packet too long for buffer"

Hi,

OS : opensuse 11.2
camera : sony HDR-HC7
dvgrab : 3.4

the modules loaded : lsmod | grep 1394
dv1394 23720 0
raw1394 33576 0
ohci1394 38340 1 dv1394
ieee1394 121024 3 dv1394,raw1394,ohci1394

the command : dvgrab --autosplit --format dv2 <my file>

I try to change the format with hdv or raw.
I always get :
Found AV/C device with GUID 0x0800460104f7850c
"" 0.00 MiB 0 frames
Capture Stopped
Error: no DV

the dmesg command give me a lot of message like :
ohci1394: fw-host0: IR DMA error - packet too long for buffer

where is the problem ?
Someone could help me please?

thanks

The ONLY format that works with HDV is "hdv" You can not use raw, dv1, dv2, or mov.
