#3601, "Request for tutorial: jpg + mp3 => avi"

The "hello world" of video editing is the jpg + mp3 => avi problem, i.e. to make a movie from a single still image as video channel and a single mp3 as audio channel.

Can I please request a first-time user tutorial for how to do this in Kino?

1. FX -> Create -> From File -> File ... choose JPEG
1a. In the Create panel, set the number of Frames (seconds * frames-per-second).
2. Audio Filter -> Dub -> Audio File ... choose MP3 (cross fingers MP3 support works in your version and build - this is Free Software and multimedia, after all).
3. Click Render ... wait for it to finish.
4. Click Edit on the right icon strip
5. Click the play button near the bottom center.
