#3600, "Question about Kino 1.3.3 on Ubuntu 9.10 Linux"

Hi! I'm a new Kino user and Ubuntu 9.10 (b4-bit) has a Kino 1.3.3 package I installed.

So, I'm running Kino 1.3.3 and editing some digital video I shot on a MiniDV into a movie. I've found a strange behavior when adding video transitions.

After getting my video loaded in Kino, I click the "Fx" button and I choose my video filter (fade out) as I want. I set the limit to "closing" and adjust the number of frames at the end of the scene to replace with the fade out filter. I also adjust the speed to slow down the effect so the fade happens at the rate of speed I want. I'm using the "Overlay" mode.

After doing that and rendering the transition effect, I click "Edit" to go back into edit mode on the movie. The transition appears in the storyboard just fine. I click the first scene in the storyboard and click the "Play" button and the video scrolls by VERY fast and there is no audio. Then, it goes through a few scenes and then plays at normal speed and the audio can how be heard.

Is this a bug of some kind or am I doing something wrong?
