Hey, that really impress me !
I've just plugged the IEEE1394 in my PC, linux has detected and loaded everything.
Some search on google drives me on this website and after having installed Kino, well, here it is, my family video from my camcorder ( Thomson VMD 130 ) into a easy to read mpeg file :-)
Thank you a lot for this really easy to use piece of software !
